A F. W. Elliott foi uma empresa de produção de relógios, sediada em Inglaterra (Reino Unido) e fundada por Frank Westcombe Elliott (c. 1875-1944), em 1923 (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd). Apesar de ter sido fundada nessa data, Frank Elliott, ainda antes de atingir a maioridade, iniciou o seu envolvimento no mundo empresarial, no qual também já estava envolvido o seu pai, James Jones Elliott, fundador da empresa Elliott, na década de oitenta do século XIX (Farquhar, sd). Em 1904, na sequência do falecimento seu pai, Frank Elliott assumiu a liderança da empresa, a qual, dali a cinco anos, estabeleceu uma fusão com a Grimshaw & Baxter. Esta parceria manteve-se até ao início da década de 1920, altura em que Frank Elliott se separou da Grimshaw & Baxter, para estabelecer uma parceria com a Gillett & Johnston Ltd (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd). Esta nova parceria duraria ainda menos tempo, já que Frank Elliott adquiriu uma parte da Gillett & Johnston, fundando, seguidamente (1923), a sua própria empresa, a já mencionada F. W. Elliott Ltd, de acordo com as mesmas fontes.
Durante a Segunda Grande Guerra (1939-1945), esta organização dedicou-se mais à produção de peças e de equipamentos para os motores Rolls-Royce-Merlin, os quais eram usados em aviões Spitfire (Nève, sd: Nº 63: 9). 
No ano de 1944, Frank Elliott faleceu, mas a empresa manteve-se em funções, com a nova liderança (Managing Director | PT - Diretor-geral; Gerente) de um dos três filhos de Frank, Horace Elliott. 
Em 1998, a F. W. Elliott Ltd cessou funções (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd).  

F. W. Elliott was a company of clocks production located in England (United Kingdom) and founded by Frank Westcombe Elliott (c. 1875-1944), in 1923 (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd). Although it was founded in that date, Frank Elliott, even before he reached the age of majority started to be involved in the business world, in which his father, James Jones Elliott, the founder of the Elliott company, in the 1880s, was already involved (Farquhar, sd). In 1904, after the decease of his father, Frank Elliott assumed the leadership of the organization, which established a merge with Grimshaw & Baxter, after five years. This merge was maintained until the beginning of the 1920s, when Frank Elliott split from that company (Grimshaw & Baxter), to establish a partnership with Gillett & Johnston Ltd (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd). This new partnership would last even less, since Frank Elliott acquired a share of Gillett & Johnston, founding his own company afterwards (1923), the already mentioned F. W. Elliott Ltd, according with the same sources of information.
During World War II (1939-1945), this firm was more dedicated on the production of parts and gear for the Rolls-Royce-Merlin engines, which were used on Spitfire airplanes  (Nève, sd: Nº 63: 9).   
In 1944, Frank Elliott passed away, but the company maintained its business with the new leadership (Managing Director) of one of Frank's children, Horace Elliott.
In 1998, F. W. Elliott Ltd ceased its business activity (Farquhar, sd; The British Museum, sd).
